| Simon Tate Company: NA Website: http://www.simontate.com | I is versatile simple to manipulate and most of all practical in its layout and fundamental mimicry of the operating system movements. |
| Frank Garrett Company: Duncan Construction Website: http://duncansdozer.net | you trolls need to find something better to do love frank "fugg kew' garrett google my name |
| Calvin | I love the grey design. It makes it look professional. It also fits nicely with Windows XP. |
| William Gates Company: Microsoft Website: http://www.microsoft.com | The engineers at Microsoft worked very hard on this and I have yet to see a superior browser. We only developed future IE browsers due to idiots complaining. |
| Andrew | IE sucks! Chrome is best! Open IE6 and it takes 5-10 seconds to load! If you open Chrome it takes 0.5-1 seconds! Beat that! |
| Bill Gates Company: Microsoft Website: http://www.microsoft.com/ | Finally some serious attention to the problem! Al websites could work on IE6 with bugfixes etc. And if everyone started building for IE6 only, we as webdesigners would not have to worry about site-layouts in IE6, IE7, IE8, FF2, FF3, Chrome, Safari, Opera etc. etc. I'm not saying IE6 is the best, but there should be only one browser! (not 20 different ones!) |
| Simon Rule Company: Astro Communications Website: http://www.astrocommunications.com.au | IE6 is like dos to windows. |
| Martin Barnard | Come on wow doesn't love 2001 technology. Only 10 years old. |
| Martin | It's using more memory to show me this site (and others) which is good. It makes IE6 faster and more user friendly, since caching is good for example with limited wifi coverage. Other browser waste processor time etc to clean up irrelevant stuff from memory to make them look lightweight! www.saveie6.com should also provide printable materials so that we all could pin and show our support in and outside our cubicles! Please provide the badge as A4-printable sized PDF. |
| Andrew Company: HurrIcanE Productions Infinity Website: http://therealhurricane.weebly.com/ | IE6 is definitely not the most secure. Any viruses I have recieved were using this browser. BUT when it comes to speed, it is the fastest browser around. IE7 and IE8 can't touch IE6 when it comes to speed. IE9 is a hugh jump from IE7 and IE8 and the interface is beautiful, but it isn't compatible with Windows XP, and it still has some of the useless crap in IE7 and IE8 like the accelorators which in my opinion don't make anything faster. IE6 with the rendering updates of IE9 minus the useless crap from IE7 and IE8 would be the best browser. Microsoft could call it IE Infinity and just release updates for it like Google does with Chrome, then we wouldn't have to get a whole new browser, just install the updates to our current one. All UI changes should be optional and fully customizable. I know I strayed from the topic of IE6, but we need to improve IE6 if we are going to keep it. Although running Spyware Terminator with the Crawler Toolbar installed into your IE6 will add the security without needing to switch browsers. Although on old computers it will slow the performance. So the security should be built in. Hopefully IE9 will be the new best browser. The beta definitely looks very promising. |
